THE JUSTICES OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF LITHUANIA WILL ATTEND
  THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM DEDICATED TO THE FOUNDATION OF THE
                  CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF KOREA
                                


     On 1-4 September 2008, President of the Constitutional Court
of  Lithuania  Mr.  Kęstutis  Lapinskas  and  Justice  Ms.   Toma
Birmontienė will attend the internatonal symposium "Separation of
Powers  and  Constitutional Adjudication in the 21(st)   Century"
dedicated  to  the  20th  anniversay of the  foundation  of   the
Constitutional Court of Korea.
     The  President  of the Court will chair the  third   session
"Constitutional Adjudication and Judicial Power" and the  Justice
will deliver the report "Concept of the Parliamentary control  in
the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania".
     Representatives  of  the Constitutional Court of   Lithuania
attended  conferences of Asian Constitutional Courts in  previous
years.
