JOURNALISTS FROM UKRAINE HAVE VISITED THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF
                            LITHUANIA

    
     A  group  of  journalists  from  Ukraine  has  visited   the
Constitutional Court of Lithuanian. The meeting with the  Adviser
to the President of the Court Mr. Egidijus Jarašiūnas covered the
history of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania,
its powers and jurisprudence.
     The  main  Court  decisions  of the recent  years  and   the
proposal to introduce the institute of the constitutional  appeal
were involved into the conversation as well.
     The  Director of the Law Departament Mr. Ernestas   Spruogis
and  vice  Director  of  the  Law  Departament  Mrs.    Viktorija
Staugaitytė have attended the meeting and answered the questions.
